Tim was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. He is a professional accountant and also a professor of English.  He has worked in America, England, Germany and of course, Canada. He came to China 4 years ago as a teacher at ONLY and since that time he has concentrated his efforts on improving his students ability in spoken English with emphasis on business, conversation and IELTS preparation.
　　He has had published, through Jiao Tong University press, textbooks including topics such as Logistics, Marketing, and Business Communication.
　　Recently his students in a class of 18 averaged 6.5 in the IELTS examination.
　　His clients for Business English include companies such as ThyssenKrupp Elevator, Shanghai Goss Graphic Systems Ltd., China Power Investment Corporation, Askey Technology Shanghai Ltd., and Shanghai Kai Hong Electronic Co. Ltd. to name a few.
